Last after Epiphany Transfiguration
Mark 9.2-9Context
The journey ends as it begins, with God’s glory revealed to the disciples. The Transfiguration is a pivotal moment, and one which the disciples would want to cling to. But the challenge for Christ’s followers is to recognise the significance of what is revealed and, inspired, be prepared to move on!
Common thread – Mountain memories (Mark 9.2-9)

An alternative thread
Light fantastic, within the Word and Response material for adults draws on 2 Corinthians 4 to show that it is Christ and his glory which must be proclaimed if the gospel is to be shared in the world.
