Matthew 5.21-37Context
Continuing with the theme of wisdom and foolishness, we look in more detail at Jesus’ teaching in the Sermon on the Mount. Here Jesus draws on and deepens the teachings of the Torah, or guide book for life, and what this has to say about our relationships with one another.
Common thread: Wise or foolish relationship? (Matthew 5.21-37)
This week, challenged by Jesus teaching not to live so much by the letter of the law but by its spirit of love, forgiveness and reconciliation, we are asked to consider our relationships with one another.
An alternative thread for adults, God gives the growth, is based on 1 Corinthians 3.1-9.
