Psalm 90Words for prayer - Week 2 of 4
Four weeks in which we draw upon the psalms to help us deepen our prayer.
Time setting
In Psalm 90 we encounter the language of pleading with God. The psalm also helps us to consider the dynamic of time within God’s order. We recommend that you look at the entire psalm this week, and not just the verses set in the lectionary.
This week's reading, Psalm 90, provides us with an opportunity to:
- recognise the stability God offers us
- realise our dependence on God
- learn to make each day count
