Pentecost
Acts 2.1-21Seeing the extraordinary in the ordinary - Week 8 of 8
Eight weeks in which we find in the Acts of the Apostles Luke’s understanding of what it means to encounter the risen Christ.
Suddenly from heaven
God pours down the Holy Spirit at Pentecost to inspire the disciples.
This week's reading, Acts 2.1-21, provides an opportunity to:
- understand this passage in the light of God coming down to help his people (AAA & CYP)
- recognise that we have a role to play in the message of the resurrection (AAA & CYP)
- identify the continued downpouring of the Spirit (AAA & CYP).
These resources were first published in 2013.
