There is confusion about John the Baptist’s identity – is he the Christ or one of the prophets? John explains that he is the one who is to prepare the way for the Lord.
This week’s reading, John 1.6-8,19-28, provides an opportunity to:
- find our voice, the authentic reflection of our being (AAA & CYP)
- consider the value of questions. (AAA & CYP)
- listen to the cries from the wilderness (AAA & CYP)
