Proper 11

Mark 6.30-34,53-56

Time for everything? (AAA)

Life today is ruled by the clock and the diary. ‘Time is money,’ we say. Does this sometimes prevent us from being open to the needs of others (or our own needs) in the way that Jesus was?

People first (CYP)

At a lonely place, the crowd is waiting. Out of compassion Jesus gives in and starts teaching again, because they are like sheep without a shepherd.
