John 6.24-35

Jesus contrasts physical hunger, met by the feeding miracle, and spiritual hunger, which he will also meet if only people will acknowledge it.

The bread Jesus gives is for the whole world. The crowds want that bread always – they want always to be linked to the source of eternal life.
