Jesus’ remarks about the destruction of the Temple may have provoked a range of reactions from sheer incredulity to wonder at the ways of God.
Safe and secure? (CYP)
As the disciples marvelled at the Temple's magnificence, Jesus’ comments cast a gloomy shadow across their over-confidence. A day will come when all misplaced hope crumbles into the rubble of despair.
