Genesis 15.1-12,17-18God promises childless Abram that his heirs will be as numerous as stars in the sky and Abram trusts that this promise will come true. God seals his covenant with Abram by passing through sacrificed animals in the form of a flaming torch – a sign that God will keep his promises.
God makes big promises for our future, and always keeps them, no matter how impossible they seem at the time. We sometimes find it more difficult to keep our promises. What do we need to understand to help us to do it better?
