Mark 1.29-39Context
Before the journey reaches a pace which leaves us reeling, we are treated to a hidden domestic episode as Jesus heals Simon’s mother-in-law who is in bed with a fever. News is spreading though, and by sunset her doorway is crowded with others who seek healing.
