Proverbs 9.1-6Context
The fourth week of John 6 focuses on what is real food and drink, and today we look at Wisdom’s invitation to experience reality. As the custodians of God’s wisdom in today’s world, how can the Church set God’s invitation before others so that they may enter and eat?

The ROOTS resources this week explore the reading from Proverbs with Wisdom as the story teller. This provides an opportunity to explore a beautiful model of biblical writing shedding light on John’s style and the significance of metaphor in religious understanding. We encounter the significance of hospitality.
