Luke 4.21-30Context
This week the reading from Luke is the second instalment of the incident that began last week in the synagogue. Jesus is rejected by those who know him.
Common thread – Led by the Spirit (Luke 4.21-30)
Jesus is led by the Spirit and challenges the ‘way it has always been’. We think about how we make room for all and how prepared we are to be open to new possibilities in circumstances that will help others, even if they are uncomfortable for us.
An alternative thread for adults, Love is all you need, is based on 1 Corinthians 13.
