Easter Day
John 20.1-18Context
Today Christ is risen. We celebrate and reflect on what this meant to the first witnesses of the resurrection, and to us.
Common thread: See the dawn (John 20.1-18)
We hear from three witnesses to the resurrection in another narrative sermon that gives us the opportunity to create our own conversation with those who were the first to experience that momentous event.
An alternative thread for adults, No favourites, is based on Acts 10.34-43. It begins a series of sermons on the Early Church described in Acts which will continue through the weeks after Easter.
