Today we continue to read Luke’s account of Jesus in the synagogue at Nazareth. This week the mood shifts and turns unpleasant, prompting us to consider the hazards of the prophetic role.
This week's reading, Luke 4.21-30, provides us with an opportunity to:
- think about the role of the prophet (AAA & CYP)
- identify truthful and positive communication in a multimedia world (AAA & CYP)
- make the space for the difficult voice to be heard (AAA & CYP)
- consider how we speak and listen to each other in love (AAA & CYP).
