Easter 6

Acts 16.9-15

Seeing the extraordinary in the ordinary - Week 6 of 8

Eight weeks in which we find, in the Acts of the Apostles, Luke’s understanding of what it means to encounter the risen Christ.

Crossing over

Paul crosses the water from Asia Minor to what is now Europe. Lydia is baptised into the church in Philippi.

This week's reading, Acts 16.9-15, provides an opportunity to:

  • recognise that we interact with God at different times and places (AAA & CYP)
  • consider the networks of which we are part (AAA & CYP)
  • appreciate how the gospel spread widely along the established networks of the Roman Empire (AAA & CYP).

These resources were first published in Issue 65 May/June 2013.
