Mary is very sad when she goes to the tomb. She discovers the wonderful truth that Jesus is alive and she is full of life and joy again.
This week’s reading, John 20.1-18, provides us with an opportunity to:
- celebrate the resurrection of Jesus (AAA; CYP)
- think about the ways in which we recognise Jesus (AAA; CYP)
- consider how we react to the unexpected (AAA & CYP)
- identify the contrasts within the story of Easter morning (AAA; CYP).
