A capacity to discern
Jesus tells another parable about a sower, whose crop is put at risk by an infiltrator. However, Jesus cautions against hasty action.
This week’s reading, Matthew 13.24-30,36-43, provides us with an opportunity to:
- explore the difference between a story and its interpretation (AAA & CYP)
- see the potential in the story of the wheat and the weeds (AAA & CYP)
- ?identify the point in the parable that surprises us/awakes us (AAA & CYP)
- ?reflect on our own life in response to the story (AAA & CYP).
