Bible story

Play is how under 5s learn, explore and make sense of the world. That's why we suggest play activities that connect to the week's Bible story.

Reinforce the themes in the Bible story through fun and practical craft activities.

Use them in your group session, or give them out to take home. Available in both English and Welsh.
Using the resources in an intergenerational gathering
The under 5s explore the same Bible story as the older children, youth groups and adults.
This makes it easier to weave elements from the under 5s resources into your gatherings. For example:
if you have an area at the side of the worship space for under 5s and their carers, set out the week's play and craft activities, plus a printout of the story
if you're using the all-age worship activities from Worship Together, add some of the under 5s ideas
if you have a mixed-age children's group, pick and mix activity ideas from across the age ranges in the Children & Youth resources.
