Luke 7.36–8.3Forgiven little; loving little (AAA)
For Simon, this woman is a sinner, well-known as a prostitute. For Jesus, she is a woman moved to the heart by the reality of God’s love and acceptance, showing her gratitude in the only way she knows how.
Forgiveness and tears (CYP)
We need to know that the very repentance itself, our sorrow for our sins, is already a fruit of God’s having forgiven us.
