I am going to prepare a place for you (AAA)
In just the same way as Jesus made arrangements for the disciples to gather together with him at the Last Supper, so Jesus is promising to go ahead once more – through death – to prepare a place for them to be together with him.
Jesus prepares and guides (CYP)
Jesus is preparing a place for us, and will show us how to get there. We can be confident for the future because of this.
