Luke describes Jesus setting his face to Jerusalem. Over seven weeks we travel with Jesus on his journey from the Mount of Transfiguration to the glory of the cross.
Entrance into Jerusalem
On Palm Sunday we enter Jerusalem with Jesus, the king of peace.
This week's reading, Luke 19.28-40, provides us with an opportunity to:
- identify what is distinctive about Luke’s account of the entry into Jerusalem (AAA & CYP)
- recognise that Jesus is the King of peace (AAA & CYP)
- hold up the cross as the focus of our prayer. (AAA & CYP).
