Mary finds time to sit and listen to Jesus but her sister, Martha, is too busy with her chores. This week’s story is only slightly less familiar than last week’s but it is more enigmatic, so we puzzle together over our response.
This week's reading, Luke 10.38-42, provides us with an opportunity to:

- think about what hospitality is
- identify different kinds of hospitality.
