Call to worship
Come. Love the Lord your God,
Come. Love the Lord your God,
Let us thank God for each other
We bring ourselves to a moment of quiet,
Holy Spirit of God,
We give thanks, Lord God,
Lord God, we pray for those who have brought us to faith, who have shown us your love, who have tended to our needs, physical, emotional and spiritual.
Find pictures, images, words that show vulnerable people and those who are gentle. Which are harder to find, and which resonate with us the most?
Caring, loving God, you would never hurt us,
From the security of this place, with friends and family and our faith community, be with us, eternal God, as we step into the world of ‘mixed-up all-sorts’.
God of all times, may I live my life so that others know that I care for them, am there for them, am loving them in your name. Amen.
Holy God of strength,
Display pictures of parents with children and a lioness with her cub.
Lord God,
Caring God,
Response line: With your help,
we will do it. (punch the air)
