God is calling us to come and join the story, to come and play our part.
Here we are, Lord, with our gifts and our gaps,
As we draw near to you, Lord God,
We adore you, O extraordinary God,
Lord, we confess that we fear getting in too deep.
Father, we praise you for allowing your kingdom to break through into our lives;
Holy God of all power and saving grace
Jesus wants us to get involved in God’s story.
Lord of the deep, be with us when we feel out of our depth.
God, you are above,
Lord Jesus, thank you that when the fishermen, whose nets were empty,
God of all, forgive us when we fall
God of our story, we are all part of your church,
Loving Father, may your story be our story;
Take a piece of netting and give everyone a piece of coloured ribbon.
