A prayer reflection on the kingship of God

To be read slowly, leaving time for reflection on each phrase

Blessed are you, Lord our God, king of the universe:
the king beside whom there is no other;
whose justice is perfect;
whose kingdom is not of this world;
whose kingdom will not pass away
and whose rule will be opposed;
the king whose kingdom will come with pain and anguish,
we give you our worship and adoration.
