This week we move from reflection to action, from parable to miracle with the healing of a woman in the synagogue.
Common thread – Are you serving? (Luke 13.10-17)
We might expect the healing of a sick person to be greeted with rejoicing, yet for those who witnessed the healing in the synagogue, Jesus’ compassion is a source of controversy, for he is considered to have broken the Sabbath. In the ROOTS resources this week, we consider the cost of service.
