Epiphany 6
2 Kings 5.1-14The promise of God - Week 4 of 5
Five weeks in which we discover the God who is able to accomplish far more than all we can ask or imagine.
God who promises
We turn to a story about Elisha, who helps a sick army commander called Naaman whose pride almost wrecks his chances of recovery.
This week’s reading, 2 Kings 5.1-14, provides an opportunity to:
- consider whether or not their dignity sometimes influences people’s response to God (AAA & CYP)
- think about what helps us to move on from times of disappointment (AAA)
- reflect on the power of God’s healing (CYP)
These resources were first published in Issue 57 – January/February 2012.
