John 15.1-8Resurrection Life - Week 5 of 9
Nine weeks in which, through praying the Scriptures, we begin to discover the skills needed to live in the light of the resurrection.
The true vine
Exploring Jesus’ striking image of the vine, we discover that abundance results from the strengthening of the rootstock through pruning away unnecessary growth. We consider what this means for the development of our own relationship with Christ.
This week's reading, John 15.1-8, provides an opportunity to:
- consider the importance of pruning for healthy plant growth (AAA and CYP)
- think about what it means to be rooted in Christ (AAA and CYP).
