A time in which we accept Luke’s invitation to be caught up in the big story of God’s creation and redemption of the world.

This week, Luke 2.1-14,(15-20), provides an opportunity to:
- understand the way Luke sets the nativity narrative in a historical and global context and his use of Old Testament ideas (AAA)
- identify the way that Luke subverts the language and imagery of the Roman Empire (AAA)
- recognise the way in which belief leads to action to effect change (AAA)
- celebrate the ordinary and extraordinary nature of Jesus’ birth. (AAA and CYP)
