Luke 2.41-52The big story Week 5 of 5
A time in which we accept Luke’s invitation to be caught up in the big story of God’s creation and redemption of the world.
Owned faith
On this Sunday after Christmas, Luke the evangelist, in Luke 2.41-52, invites us to take a giant leap over 12 years, to read of Jesus dialoguing with the doctors of the law in the Temple at Jerusalem, where he travelled as a pilgrim to the Passover festival.
This week provides an opportunity to:
- reflect on the traditions we have inherited and the need to own our faith (AAA and CYP)
- participate in the ongoing process of change needed to step out in Jesus’ footsteps (AAA)
- think about the people who are important to us and to whom we are important. (CYP)
