Nine weeks in which, through praying the Scriptures, we begin to discover the skills needed to live in the light of the resurrection.
Protect them in your name
In the week before Pentecost, we research Jesus’ prayer for his disciples. He used these words on the night before he died, invoking God’s protection for his closest disciples. We consider the implications of these mysterious words for us.
This week’s readings, John 17.6-19 and Psalm 1, provide an opportunity to:
- pray for God’s protection (AAA and CYP)
- empower one another to live out the Christian mission (AAA and CYP).
