Jesus tells the Twelve that whoever welcomes them welcomes him, and whoever welcomes Jesus, welcomes the one who sent him.
This week’s reading, Matthew 10.40-42, provides an opportunity to:
- reflect on all that hospitality teaches us about God
- recognise the potential of vulnerability
- appreciate what it means to give and receive blessing.
