Luke 19.28-40Jesus finally reaches Jerusalem and arranges to enter the city on a donkey. As he joins the crowds of pilgrims arriving for the Passover festival, his disciples hail him as ‘the king who comes in the name of the Lord’ – to the annoyance of the watching Pharisees.
