Christmas Day
John 1.1-14Context
Christmas Day has finally arrived, with an opportunity to consider once again the profound and moving opening words of John's Gospel.
Common thread: The Word became flesh (John 1.1-14 – Adult & All Age, Children & Young People – Luke 2.1-18)
Why do Christians focus so much on Jesus? All babies are special – but what made Jesus so especially special? Christmas is above all a time for exploring the meaning of the Incarnation, God with us.
An alternative thread, Jesus: God, not just an angel, is based on Hebrews 1.1-4.
