The psalmist wrote, saying to God:
Open our minds, O God;
‘I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.‘I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful
are your works; that I know very well.’ (Psalm 139:14).
Lord God, you spoke to Samuel in the middle of the night.
For the times we only listen with half an ear – if that; the times we are the one being called, but we’re just not open enough to hear it
Lord God, we thank you for speaking to Samuel;
Speak, Lord, we are listening
We open our hearts to God.
Go in the name of the Lord
Speak to us, Lord, in our time together.
Thank you, loving God, that you speak to people
of all ages.
.
Hold a minute of silence in which you invite the
group members in their own hearts and minds
to ask God for forgiveness.
We pray for those who think nobody cares for them, that they may be open to feel your love.
