Instructions for making a chain of 'saints', plus templates for the letters and words suggested (see p. 17 of ROOTS AAA 47)

To make the chains of saintsCut strips of paper about 4cm wide lengthwise from sheets of A4 in a variety of colours. Concertina these and then against a folded side of the concertina draw half a stick person. Cut the person out through all the concertinaed layers and you will have little chains of people. Arrange these around the picture to create a frame.
