Proper 26

Luke 19.1-10

In our time – Week 1 of 4

Four weeks in which we see how Luke explores the significance of the crucifixion for his readers, then and now.

Welcome

This week, Zacchaeus’ life is completely changed by his meeting with Jesus.

This week’s reading, Luke 19.1-10, provides us with an opportunity to:

  • hear the story of Zacchaeus the tax collector (AAA & CYP)
  • recognise that meeting Jesus changes everything (AAA & CYP)
  • identify the movement from spectator to participant (AAA & CYP)
  • consider what it means to ‘die to self’ (AAA & CYP).

These resources were first published in 2013.
