A capacity to face our fear
Matthew 14.22-33A time to awake – Week 4 of 5
Five weeks in which we consider our capacity to discover the truth in Jesus.
A capacity to face our fear
Jesus sends the disciples in a boat across the lake. A terrifying storm confronts them but Jesus appears, walking on the water.
This week’s reading, Matthew 14.22-33, provides us with an opportunity to:
- identify worship as a response to salvation (AAA)
- recognise the natural place of fear in our lives (AAA & CYP)
- acknowledge our dependence on each other (AAA & CYP).
