Prayer for protection
John 17.6-19- Jesus is speaking at the Last Supper, immediately before he is betrayed.
- Jesus sends his disciples out into the world with all its dangers.
- Jesus prays to the Father for his disciples’ protection.
- John’s Jesus emphasises our belonging to God, through Jesus.
